I am a Level 3 Reiki Master based in the village of Marsden, West Yorkshire, UK.
My site is intended help you understand how Reiki works, and how it may benefit you in your search for health and wellbeing.
Reiki is an energy healing treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. Some of my clients describe the effects of Reiki treatment as being similar to the effects of Acupuncture (which is also an holistic system of energy healing).
Reiki is not a system of religious beliefs. It is simply a relaxing treatment, where natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a trained Reiki practitioner (acting as a conduit) to the body of the recipient. You do not need to remove any clothes to receive Reiki, or even be touched during your treatment.
The purposes of a Reiki treatment are to:
- Relieve stress and pain
- Induce relaxation
- Release emotional blockages
- Accelerate natural healing
- Balance the body’s subtle energies
- Complement and support medical treatments as well as other types of traditional therapies
